Setting up the venue for your special day can be very time consuming and stressful. Sometimes even if the venue has a team of people on hand you may not fully trust that they will deliver, or understand what you really want.
What ever the reason, if you feel you could really do with some help and support, I can be there to lend a helping hand.
I can be there for you as much or as little help as you feel you need.
My priority is making your dream come true and for not as much as you may think.
To give you an idea of cost I have included an example of a recent set up and dress down with photos below. I hope this gives you a good idea, and if you would like to discuss your needs with no obligation you are more than welcome.
I arrived at the venue the day before the wedding. I had met with the bride at the venue previously to go over exactly what she needed.
This is the finished dressing up….What a difference!
I dressed the tables with my vintage table cloths, china tea cups, saucers and side plates.
My home made jam and chutney favours had been made and decorated to the brides requirements. Each vintage cup and saucer had a hand tied name tag.
The cake table was set up and decorated with more vintage china.
Bunting and other decorations were hung around the room including a home made “just married” sign made by the bride.
My vintage bike, the milk churns and enamel jugs were put in place and all filled with beautiful flowers. The Vintage Post Box and picture frames, which displayed the table plan, looked wonderful. They were hired through All Of Our Yesterdays for the bride at the last moment (the day before!) Lilyinthelookingglass@gmail.com did a wonderful job at short notice.
Finally I needed to dress the straw bales. Which were already in place outside, but I decided that I would come back and dress with throws and cushions on the Saturday morning, as the weather had been cold and wet all month and also I could make sure that everything was in place for the guests when they arrived.
Exquisite Chair Covers did a wonderful job, and the covers and raffia ties finished off the country vintage look the bride and groom had dreamt off. I was so pleased by the weather on the day, the straw bales added a fun place to sit outdoors and for the children to play. I could now go home safe in the knowledge that everything had been done and was looking the way the bride wanted it too.
Dressing down on the Sunday
I met with the new Mr & Mrs Gibson for breakfast before packing away everything to be washed back home. They and their guests were so thrilled and amazed by the room and all had a wonderful time.
